2D Drawings
Wil-Tech offers production of two dimensional (2D) CAD drawings. Our CAD technicians utilize tools such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical to perform 2D sketching, produce floorplans, and create schematics. With AutoCAD Mechanical we offer our customers;

3D Drawings
Wil-Tech provides the parametric design of sophisticated 3D objects, components, equipment through mechanical design automation services. Our talented CAD technicians utilize Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Fusion for parametric 3D design, modeling, and modification of complex parts and mechanical assemblies, digitally testing designs and collaboration from which they can drastically reduce the costs incurred and the time involved in the traditional prototyping methods. Photorealistic Showcase Renderings
Wil-Tech offers 3D scene staging and rendering of photorealistic images and animations of your component or equipment. Though typically thought of as a tool for animating movies and games, 3DS Max allow us to present you with high-resolution, photo quality images and animations of your component or equipment; you’ll see exactly what it will look in a familiar environment before it’s complete. Autodesk 3DS Max is an exceptional piece of software for creating scenes to place completed models into showcase them, and to create animated videos.

File Import/Export
Wil-Tech works imports and exports to industry standard file formats, as well as many lesser-known formats, in doing so we can collaborate with the vast majority of 3rd party service providers regardless of whether they work with Autodesk, SolidWorks, or another CAD/CAM software. If you have a pre-existing file rest assured we’ll be able to collaborate. If you want us to produce a digital file, know that our technicians can generate file formats for 3D printing, CNC machining, digital and print marketing literature, manuals, as well as web and Augmented Reality (AR) media. While we don’t provide 3D printing, CNC machining services, or AR services ourselves we can assist in sourcing 3rd party providers. Our CAD technicians offer you the files required to produce a prototype and market it. We export to a variety of file formats including;

Digital Testing
Wil-Tech provides digital testing services, to ensure parts will fit and work properly once assembled. With Autodesk Fusion, part files can be run through real-world simulations for strength and performance testing. For advanced testing, we work with 3rd party engineering and simulation experts, to ensure the highest level of accuracy, empowering our clients to make the best decision based on safety and critical functionality. Quality assurance is built into the process through digitally testing. Additionally, Autodesk Fusion allows for files to be sent directly to CNC manufacturing or 3D printing service providers, no complicated or time-consuming format conversions. In the hands of our technicians, Fusion is a great tool for visualizing how your design will come together.

Wil-Tech doesn’t offer every industrial design service, we know our strengths and we know when to source outside support. At the heart of our business, we are fluid power experts, we are staffed with very specialized hydraulics technicians and design experts, and have significant in-house machining and fabrication capabilities; when it’s time to build & test we know we have you covered. We supplement those service with some very talented product developers but we also rely on partnerships we’ve developed over the past 25 years, specifically with engineering and product vendors specializing hydraulic, electrical & electronics like Parker Hannifin, along with a variety of instrumentation & controls experts, software developers, and more.
