Wil-Tech Industries Ltd. is a family owned fluid power company based in Saskatchewan, Canada with branches in Estevan, Regina, and now Saskatoon. The company was founded in 1992 in Estevan. In 2017, as a part of celebrating 25 years of business in Saskatchewan, we set out to give back to the province and industry that has been the key to our success by contributing to fluid power research. That is when we began a conversation with Dr. Travis Wiens with the University of Saskatchewan, College of Engineering Fluid Power Lab.

We quickly became excited with some projects the University had on the go and looked to begin a collaboration between our company, the school, and one of the leading global manufactures in Fluid Power products, Parker Hannifin. At that point, we were pleased to contribute $25,000 to the University on behalf of Wil-Tech and Parker!

Along with the sponsorship, this joint effort included more funding and support with various equipment and product discounts. We have stayed in regular communication with Dr. Wiens and we are very pleased with how our funds have helped with the enhancement of the Fluid Power Lab. We hope that a long-term relationship has been formed and look forward to the next phases of research and collaboration with our company and the University of Saskatchewan, College of Engineering Fluid Power Lab. We are proud to have facilities like this in our province!
